Fanless CarPC-barebone for use with Intel Celeron M440 CPU.
The CALUCORE-M(2)C-Series has an integrated car-power supply (direct connectable to car battery and ignition plus + integrated automatic Start/Stop-Controller.
The time intervals for automatic Start and Stop can be adjusted in the BIOS of the PC !

Sehr gut verabeitetes Gerät. Hatte dieses mit einem T2700, einer 100GB SATA und 1GB Speicher betrieben. Im Sommer wurde das passive Gerät etwas zu heiss. Daher habe ich intern einen kleinen 40er und extern einen 120er Lüfter montiert. Habe beide Lüfter nicht gehört und so die Temps von 75°C auf 55°C runter bekommen. Logischerweise waren die 75°C auch nicht schlimm, denn es ist ja eine Mobile CPU. Die dürfen wärmer werden. Aber ich wollte es etwas kühler haben, auch für die Umgebungsteile ist es angenehmer.
Die Bootfunktion funktionierte tadelos. Hat mich und meine Familie im Sommerurlaub an jedes Ziel gebracht und kann dieses Gerät empfehlen. Nur einen gewaltigen Mangel hat das Gerät wie viele andere auch. Denn was will man mit so einem Gerät? Denn so überdimensioniert nur für Navi, MP3? Nein um Filme schauen und Navi gleichzeit zu können. Aber wi soll das gehen mit nur einem VGA Ausgang. Daher habe ich mich wieder von dem gerät getrennt.

Ein sehr schöner kleiner lüfterloser PC. Mein Gerät hatte entgegen der Beschreibung sogar 2 SoDIMM Steckplätze. Er wird bei mir mit einem Intel T5600 betrieben. Das Gerät kann nicht nur gut in Autos eingesetzt werden, sondern es kann auch sehr gut auf Booten eingebaut werden.

Top Car-PC da die Onboardgrafikkarte auch DirectX9 unterstützt läst sich auch Windows Media Center 2005 oder Vista mit einem Media Center Treiber instalieren. Durch die Passive Kühlung kann ich mir diesen PC auch in einem Wohnzimmer mit einer USB TV-Karte als Media Center PC vorstellen da er schön leise ist und durch die möglichkeit eines Core 2 Duo auch schnell genug ist.
ist immer gut mit Autostart Controller, auch ohne parallel-Anschluß, denn der wird heute nicht mehr benötigt
