The Jetway JNF94-270-LF is an alternative mainboard for Intel D945GCLF.
However it is equipped already with the latest 45nm Atom CPU generation and does not need a fan.

Bin mit diesem Bord sehr zufrieden. Es läuft als Musikbox im 24 Stunden Dauerbetrieb und wird ohne Lüfter knapp 45° warm.
Anfangs hatte ich Probleme mit den Realtek Audio Treibern, was nach einem BIOS Update behoben war. Ursprungsbios vom 03.2009, jetzt 08.2009.
Das Updaten machte keine Probleme. (Vorsicht: Geht nur mit DOS!)
Mit W2K (Sp4) war der Fehler trotz Update nicht behoben. Wobei es bei Nutzung dieses Betriebssystems Aussetzer während der Audio Wiedergabe gab.
Faszit: Win XP ok, W2K Probleme. Darum ein Punkt abzug.

Booting from USB stick didn't work with this motherboard. Using the same USB stick on another PC worked just fine. So I had to use network boot instead to get the OS installed.

Exzellentes Motherboard! Alle Funktionen laufen wie erwartet, die Treiberinstallation unter XP verlief ohne Probleme. Ich verwende es ohne Lüfter in meinem Car PC mit einem M350 Gehäuse und M3 ATX Netzteil. Alles klappt problemlos. Der Start aus dem Hibernations / Resume Modus dauert ca. 8 Sekunden bei 1 GB Ram und einer normalen 2,5" Festplatte mit 5400rpm!
Der Stromverbrauch ist spitze für die Leistung und liegt bei mir im Idle mit einer Festplatte bei ca. 12 Watt. Bei Last komme ich auf ca. 18 Watt rauf. Laut Testberichten sollte das noch besser gehen...(allerdings hatte ich nur ein stabilisiertes Netzteil zur Simulation einer KFZ Stromumgebung zur Verfügung, das könnte meine Messung verfälschen).
Der HDMI Anschluß fehlt (geht halt nur über DVI zu HDMI Adapter). Der (fehlende?) HDCP Handshake könnte zum Problem werden, ich konnte hierzu (04.09) keine eindeutigen Infos finden im Web. In der Regel wird aber die Zielgruppe für (die absolut flüssig laufenden) 720p Filme keine Kopierschutz Maßnahmen benötigen...
Ich überlege mir schon ein zweites JNF94 zu kaufen, bin sehr zufrieden. Klare 5 Sterne, auch der Preis dieses Intelchipsatzes passt für diese Leistung im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz von VIA.

This is now our board of choice as it ticks all the boxes. It has dual video outputs, is fanless and has an ATX connector so we can use it with the M3-ATX PSU so its ideal for vehjicle use. Its only a single core Atom and the fact it uses laptop memory is a bit of a pain but the performance is good and it will run in a case without fans without getting too hot. Also like the fact it still has a PCI slot which we need sometimes. Not the cheapest Atom board you can buy but in our opinion probably the most versatile. Lets hope Jetway keep making it as whenever I find aa board of theirs that I like, they make it obsolete!
