In the last years Intel already has brought some movement into the market by launching their low-priced Mini-ITX Mainboards (D201GLY2(A), D945GCLF(2)) but now again is starting a new revolution with a new generation of mainboards.
The power consumption of the new Intel „Half-Height“ mainboard, when comparing to his bigger brothers, has been reduced from over 30W to below 20W. This has been achieved by using the new Mobile Atom CPU which can be operated with passive cooling. And in addition Intel has managed to reduce the height to an outstanding 2 cm. This will lead to new generation of Small form factor systems with high feature density in a very small room.

very good product at low price.
It has an integrated power supply so i can connect it directly to an ac/dc adaptor without picopsu :)
It's perfect for server or nas and it is fanless.
Debian runs well with the last software installer upgrades.
I think is one of the best motherboard ever made by intel.

Questa è la scheda itx che consuma meno che io conosca. Andate su silentpcreview e cercate la recensione, è la più parsimoniosa.
Non aspettatevi grandi cose però da questa mobo perchè ci sono i suoi difetti: è lenta.
Certo se vi serve per un server ftp/php/mysql/apache è la cosa migliore da usare 24h/24! Comunque ottima mobo, la piu parsimoniosa di intel............
La parte AM indica solamente come vengono controllati i singoli diodo organici. Per dirci su due parole basti sapere che per fare la matrice attiva bisogna piazzare un pelo più di elettronica accanto ciascun subpixel (parliamo di un paio di transistor se non è troppo diversa dagli lcd).
Anche gli LCD sono passati per questa storia della matrice attiva e passiva per la cronaca.

Good product amazingly thin, the price is the lowest that I was able to find.
I'll going to make a 24/7 mini server with this board but a couple of things aren't like I expected to be.
1 - The processor heatsink is hotter than I would expect and I'm worried about fanless usage (maybe it's only the current hot weather but ...).
2 - The power cable supplied has two female 4 pin T-Molex connector and one female Sata connector insted of one Molex and two Sata as you can see in the picture. I need to connect two 2.5" Sata disk so I'm little disappointed but with a little mod I'll reuse this cable.
3 - No cable adapters are supplied for using the headers available on the board. If you think to use any of those you need to find the right cable apart.
