Das NUC-UPSwurde dazu entwickelt um mit einer Platine 2 Funktionen gleichzeitig zu erhalten : Eine benutzer-spezifizierte Stromausgangsleistung aus einem breiten Eingangsspannungsbereich oder einer Backup-Batterie und das Mikroprozessor-gesteuerte Laden und Verwalten von LiFePO4 Akkus. Legen Sie einfach Batterien in das Gerät ein und beginnen Sie. Es sind keine weiteren Verkabelungen zur UPS-Schaltung nötig.

Die USV enthält einen synchronen Boost-Wandler mit hoher Genauigkeit und Stromregelung und eine automatische Systemstrompfadauswahl entweder von einem Adapter oder von der Batterie. Es lädt die Batterie in drei Phasen: Vorbehandlung , Konstantstrom -und Konstantspannungsmodus-Modus.

NUC-UPS hat Windows-Unterstützung und API ermöglicht es Entwicklern, Schnittstelle zu benutzerdefinierten Anwendungen.

NUC-UPS kommt mit Windows-API-Unterstützung und ermöglicht Entwicklern eine komfortable Möglichkeit zur Einbindung in eigene Anwendungen. Ausgang und Einstellungen können über kundenspezifische Software- Anwendungen überwacht werden. Der Batteriestatus wird auf allen Windows-Systemen angezeigt. Windows erkennt NUC-UPS automatisch als "Batterie" (keine Treiber nötig).
