The M300-Enclosure is a versatile mini-ITX enclsosure designed for embedded applications where CDROM drives are not required. The M300-Enclosure fits any type of mini-ITX board with standard back I/O shield. Not recommanded for EPIA 800, EPIA 5000 and EPIA CN series because of the different USB header pinout. The M300-Enclsoure will work with up to two IDE or SATA 2.5" disk drives (disk drive cable adapter not included).

The M300-Enclsosure is compatible with an entire range of DC-DC picoPSU power supplies, allowing system designers to pick the right PSU for their application (picoPSU not included in this assembly)

The M300-Enclosure has a front door for extra ESB ports and Bootable Compact Flash adapter (included in this assebly), making this enclosure perfect for systems that boot from flash (Compact Flash). The M300-Enclosure has all the features of the M200-Enclosure, however it allows the installation of a PCI card via PCI riser card (included in this assebly)

The M300-Enclosure comes in a white OEM box that can be re-branded. The enclosure has a small area for OEM logo, allowing system integrator to re-brand the unit, making this enclosure the perfect candidate for embedded applications.

Nice box, it would have been nice to have the same with a space for a dvd device.

Wir benutzen dieses Gehäuse mit einem Jetway NC92-330-LF. Es ist zwar sehr eng und daher bei (fast?) voller Bestückung (wie bei uns: Festplatte, CD-ROM, PCI-Karte und Daughterboard für's Jetway) etwas schwierig zu bestücken, aber trotz des kleinen Lüfters angenehm leise, wenn auch eindeutig hörbar. Dank der Lüfterregelung aber klar auf der verträglichen Seite. Selbst unter Volllast zwar hörbar, aber noch leise.

Ich habe mir das Gehäuse für meinen sparsamen keinen Server für Zuhause gekauft und bin ganz zufrieden damit. Es ist eins der wenigen Gehäuse, das Platz für2 2,5'' Festplatten und eine PCI-Karte bietet. Die Verarbeitung ist gut, der Preis ein wenig zu hoch, aber es ist ja auch kein Standard-Gehäuse. Den eingebauten kleinen Lüfter konnte ich deaktivieren da ich das passiv gekühlte MSI IM-945GSE Board verbaut habe, daher gibts keine störenden Geräusche.

Like an italian shoe, small on the outside but plenty of room inside. One drawback is that a PCI card in the riser will conflict with a second harddrive

This enclosure is all you need, i have it for a small server based computer, using Intel Little Valley motherboard, 3,5" 1TB hard drive and a FireWire PCI card for the external hard drive. Also installed another 4cm fan on the box, works like a charm.
