The BU353 GPS receiver features the new chipset SIRF4, is waterproof and has a magnetic and rugged case bottom. The integrated highly sensitive GPS Aaerial gives you a maximum receiption quality.

The connection cable can be enlarged up to 5 meters for optimal placement of the receiver. The integrated USB-to-Serial bridge eases usage. For installation you only need a small USB driver.

I got one of these for my first CarPC and its with my till this day. Don't get anything lower the SIRF 3 and this is exactly what you will need for your GPS enabled CarPC.

Great GPS recever i have 2 and it works great in my CARPC. very easy to install. You can convert it to SIRF message with the Sirfdemo software. Has a good Cold start time and also a faster re-tracking.

Um acessório bastante fácil de instalar. Dispõe de uma boa qualidade de recepção de sinal, sendo bastante fiável. Pena que o cabo USB seja pequeno. Implica que montagem deste seja ao pé do PC. O iman é uma boa opção de montagem.

talvez o melhor receptor gps do mercado, com chip SIFRIII,a prova de agua ,podera colocalo no exterior da viatura possui um iman extremamente forte.boas performances e de instalacao extremamente facil basta ligar ao usb

I have used other GPS solutions in the past including serial and bluetooth. This unit is small and simply works. You also cant beat the price. Just plug it in and download the drivers and its good to go. It has a magnet on the bottom and is waterproof if you want to mount it ontop of your car. I used double sided tape and mounted it where my dash meets the window and it works great. No flashy distracting leds.

Hab das teil seit ca 1,5 Jahren im einsatz ,am anfang auf dem Dach und Später aufm Amaturenbrett ich hatte immer guten empfang und der gps empfänger war sofort nach hoochfahren von windwos bereit, nur einmal gab es kurzzeitig probleme mit "nachgehen" des empfängers
welche aber nach umstellung auf sirf und wieder zurückstellen auf nema behoben waren ...

ach ja nachtrag, wenn ich die den empfänger an nem usb hub betreibe wird mein ganzer computer "blockiert" falls ich nen navi programm starte (systemauslastung laufend zwischen 50 und 100 ) weis aber nicht ob das an der maus , oder was anderem liegt
