It's expensive, but if you want peak performance this is the SSD to get. Pair this with an Atom motherboard and you'll get more than acceptable desktop performance.

Faster than any other SSD in the real world, because of its speed in writing 4k blocks (the same block size that the Windows' memory manager use to write in the pagefile). Another big point is the near-zero heat generation: while my ExpressCard SSD becomes quickly hot, this one runs cool even under load.
The version sold here is the Retail one, which comes in the blue box and with the mounting adaptor to fit it in a 3'5" desktop cage.
